BUG: FIXED - 05/28/2019 - Crafting Surveys removed entirely?

I’ve had the opposite happen to my chars. Have been receiving about twice the normal surveys the last 2 days and many double drops (e.g., 2 blacksmithing surveys from the same box). Also received a Woodworking survey for Elsweyr, but it might be bugged. When I try to use it, the screen goes slightly out of focus but no map or description comes up on the screen.

I got no surveys on my account that doesnt own elsweyr, and got DOUBLE survey drops on my main account that does own Elsweyr.

I was just about to start a thread saying the same. 2 full days of writs. 15 characters on the account without Elsweyr. ZERO drops of surveys (the odds of that happens are like 1 in a hundred million, at the 12.5% drop rate they normally have). Nothing in patch notes to indicate any change.

I saw double writs drops on my main account, which does have access to Elsweyr, in ratios that were "typical"

Main account has all chapters purchased
Alt account has the Morrowind Edition.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom any confirmation that this is a bug and being looked into?

That's the Any Race/Any Alliance upgrade. I'm not sure why the maps in those are marked as "CE," because they were originally a preorder bonus, and not attached to The Imperial Edition.

EDIT: Wait, that might be because you got the Morrowind and Summerset CE upgrades with your Elsweyr upgrade. Again, I'm not exactly sure what's going on there, but that's a nice perk for preordering.

Do you have Elsweyr? Summerset edition? Morrowind edition? Tamriel Unlimited?

Crafting survey RNG is being weird to me lately. I am on PS4 NA, so I have Elsweyr pre-ordered but not in my possession yet. I have base game upon which I added the Morrowind chapter and Summerset chapter when they came out.

Past 2 weeks, my main - who is also my master crafter - has gotten zero surveys. My other three toons, all nowhere near master crafters but still leveling themselves, usually seem to get 1-2 daily.

AFAIK, and have been able to tell, survey drops are independent of level of writs, knowledge of motifs, etc... Master writ drops do greatly depend on those variables, however.

I didn't have any crafting writ dailies at all.

I have Morrowind and Summerset. No Elsweyr. 7 characters complete all daily 7 crafting writs. I have received no less than 3 surveys a day in this practice over a couple months.

Hi there, I have the exact same problem. Writs on all characters normally provides 5-10 surveys for me, but now as of two days past launch I have received precisely zero. I did not purchase catland.

Same for me, I normally average 5+ surveys a day, and since update zero, it's very clear to me theres a problem.

I have all the main dlc apart from elsweyr.

Yep, 3 character i normally get the max of 4 surveys a day, 2 days and nothing, don't know what is happening

My new necro got 3 after I got him certified and did his first writs - 2 in one reward, and one of them is in North Elsweyr

This is either a major bug... or a major P2W move, requiring Elsweyr to get surveys from writs. Either way, not good.

No surveys here for the past two days as well and don't have Elsweyr.

I have not gotten any surveys in the past two days.

I do 6x writs on 8 characters daily. (provisioning does not give surveys)

I usually get at least 4 surveys per day, with 48 turn-ins. Often more.

I have not purchased Elsweyr. It seems there is a bug for people who have not purchased the chapter.

And naturally, since I complained in this thread, my master crafter main finally got 3 surveys tonight after a 2-week drought. LMAO

Same problem here. I don't own Elsweyr and has been doing writs on 10 character since the release and got zero survey drops.

10 characters, 2 days, No Elsweyr = no surveys.

For me, all started on Friday. I have Morrowind and Summerset but no Elsweyr. With 9 crafters, I usually get at least 5 surveys per day. Since Friday, barely 2 or 3 and since Elsweyr came out, nothing.

I got even more than usual yesterday, double drops from some boxes too, and two were the new Elsweyr ones. I craft on 7 characters btw.

I'm on console and surveys drop ratio isn't constant, it's rather rng. And remember, U22 hasn't been uploaded for us.
I do writs daily with 7 chars and some days none of my chars gets a single survey...
