Inventory

Well, this is my first time playing a 2nd character and 1st time in an ESO beta.

I do not like the fact that I can see inventory from my other character in Summerset. Clearly everything for that character is unusable by this one (due to levels). If I wanted things available to this character, I would trade/send them to this character. To me this is nothing more than an extreme nuisance, and I can see it being detrimental if I happen to be a little "careless" and select one of them for something.

I did not notice this new feature on the PTS. I can only assume it is a new feature because otherwise nothing you said makes any sense. Since you are posting this on the PTS I can only assume you are speaking of a new feature.

Otherwise we share the same bank so that is all the base game permits all characters to see. If that is what you have an issue with then do not put into the bank what you do not want to see from other characters. It is that simple

Could you maybe post a screenshot of your inventory?

I've never seen anything like this happen.

Ok, maybe these are items in the bank. However, that also begs the question of how is what you see from the "shared bank" determined? Ex, if 1 character has 240 bank spaces, and the 2nd has less than that, *how* can you possibly see and access all of what is in the 1st character's bank?

And the idea to "not put in what you don't want seen" is, frankly, ridiculous (and I'm being nice there).

Shared bank space is shared. Your characters both share the same amount. Because it is shared.

Do you understand the difference between pack and bank? Your post is... very perplexing.

Yes, I do understand the difference. That one character is all that is needed to max out bank space for *all* characters is, imho, stupid.

Because it is bank, which is used first for all for sharing items between characters. B)

Every character can see everything in the bank. There is not reason for a filter to be set. Heck, some players have alts for crafting and for mules that are not leveled up yet need to be able to see everything in the bank. This is consistent with account wide banks I have seen in other games.

It is perplexing this is an issue for anyone.

Not really. Other games have a shared stash for all characters. Armour dyes mounts, pets and momentos are all account wide, too.
