I read that monsters will do more damage in CP Campaign and I would like to explore some basic logic around the reason for this as well as some other questions.
What makes Imperial City attractive is the fact that you can farm Tel Var there. As a freestanding campaign you want to attract more players by making it EASIER to obtain Tel Var NOT more difficult! The entire system of IC is built around the Tel Var Farmer. They have to deal with competing farmers, stalking gankers specced for pvp, informants standing at ladders telling enemy nightblades where to go and bosses + minions all at the same time. Please can ZOS devs stop thinking of every player in the game as a fully levelled CP 810 player! The REASON that the non cp IC is empty is EXACTLY BECAUSE the bosses are very hard to kill!
IF ANYTHING THE BOSSES IN THE NON CP IMPERIAL CITY SHOULD BE NERF'ed!
Making Bosses and monsters do more damage in IC is like a retail store wanting to attract more customers by increasing their prices, it simply doesnt make any sense whatsoever.
There is an entite reward system built on Tel Var which includes buying flower satchels which supplies the majority of the wider community with reagents for alchemy potions and poisons. Make it harder for the TV Farmer and youre choking the entire economy.
I find it very ironic that dungeons and trials are being made easier across the spectrum of the game but Imperial city monsters now do more rather than less damage.
Please remember that players will also not benefit from emperorship bonuses which will in truth be double jeopardy on incoming monster damage.
I also have some questions:
- Is it possible for players to receive an incremental tel var, AP, damage and resistance buff with each district captured?
- Is it possible to make the sewers and city undead and daedra drop the same amount of Tel Var.
- Is it possible to add an option to buy sigils of retreat with gold
- Is it possible to shorten the respawn timer of city bosses
- Is it possible to make the loss of TV to players and bosses 25% instead of 50% as this would encourage more positive play but also ensure more players carrying Tel Var.
