There was a certain AD player repairing Alessia Bridge and turning our siege with no recourse last night. I can't wait until faction locks go live so that things like this stop happening.
I've played both CP and no-CP extensively over the years, so my opinion isn't pulled out of thin air. I'm "pushing this so much" because a substantial percentage of vet PvPers have been asking for faction locks for years to combat the trolling and faction-hopping, and when ZOS says OK, someone like you whines about it because "I can't play with friends", when clearly you can, with minimal effort.
Have they really though? Or is it merely a small, but very vocal percentage? After all, people who are OK with the current system aren't going to be whining, are they? You don't angrily ring your utility company and complain about your stable electricity service, do you?
Judging by a recent sh*tstorm in Vivec NA/PC zone chat, it looks like a slight majority of players want faction locks. It's time to stop the stupid conspiracy-theory "ZOS is catering to a few crybabies" type arguments. They stated that the reason is to combat exploits like AP boosting, so let's just see what happens. If the locked campaign is dead like a lot of you anti-faxxers claim it will be, then you can all come here and give us a big, fat "we told you so".

Who is claiming the faction locked campaign will be dead?
Because it's the CP 30 day campaign where for over 5 years people have just default to, preferring to wait in 100+ ques rather than play on underpopulated campaigns, it most certainly will not be dead.

exactly.

I'm confused, are you saying the lag and faulty coding is caused by the ever expanding enormous player base and not ZOSs inexperience and just not giving a f*ck?
Don't get me wrong, its a 5 year old game btw, and I have got my monies worth, but come join us back in reality please.
You're absolutely correct, lag is never, ever caused by capacity issues.MrSinister213 wrote: »I'm confused, are you saying the lag and faulty coding is caused by the ever expanding enormous player base and not ZOSs inexperience and just not giving a f*ck?

People like this is what annoys me the most on the forums. If the game is so bad, why you playing it?
Had a group of scrubs openly working together on cross faction toons today outside of nikel. Yes khajiit caught it all on stream. Yes this one was grumpy.
But they also had a good laugh at just how pathetic it all was. =^.^=
The saddest part is that they had to struggle so much and put so much effort into fighting a handful of folks. Ones in a barely organized PUG. A PUG in which one third of its participants were under the cap. One member was even level 24 at the time.
It gets even more pitiful when you realize the faction they chose to fight was barely two bars and trying to prevent an emp push by the locked one. An emperor push which failed by the way.
If such self proclaimed 'good players' were truly as skilled as they claimed to be they could have easily taken some keeps this one's pack took with minimal efforrt. Instead they chose to huddle in stealth clinging to their purple blankets, and waiting for the 'zergling baddy bads' to do it for them.
Which we did. Easily. Despite this one being so admittedly bad at this game.
We then went back to fighting the red side of team purple as we felt such pity for the bloops. After all they must have reached quite the sad soft state when their 'good' players so openly admit that they couldn't fight anything but a barely functioning PUG, and or empty keeps.
Again.
In other words.
Lock it up, and throw away the purples. If these elfish silly boys are as numerous as they claim to be then they can enjoy being pathetic together on the server that permits such 'skillful play'.

What you have described here is very irrelevant to faction lock.
When we did had faction lock it was common for a guild to get help from other guilds including some from other factions.
The first week the game was out one player helped a player from an opposing faction take a scroll. We had faction lock.
Considering how much intermingling we have had since faction lock was removed this is likely to continue and nothing you have said suggests otherwise.

wait until the lock so they can't blame faction swapping then

Thank you both for being willing to admit that you'll throw an angry temper tantrum in order to prove that....
you're upset about it being slightly more difficult to get the kind of attention that dissapointments seek.
Truly khajiit applauds the bravery it took to be more honest than the 'we just want good fights' crowd. It is no easy feat to say that this game is just to difficult for you, and you need to seek relevance in less challenging activities.
However this one would like to point out that the internet is forever, and you've already provided the evidence that those who oppose faction locks are sad soft little elfish sorts. Not to mention that it's all being done because you can't handle not getting your way in a relatively simple video game.
So. kudos?
Khajiit has a great sense of humor. Which is why they're always laughing at those who try so very very hard to dissapoint others.
To Telel such things are jokes that never end.
Though hopefully those jokes will find it harder and harder to become punch lines.
I'm looking forward to faction lock. It's a great idea in more competitive campaigns. AD has been doing pretty well on Xbox NA recently and I can't tell you how many times we've been at last emp keep and someone from an opposing faction logs into their AD alt and dumps a ton of forward camps so the last emp keep can't put one up. It's disgusting.

ZOS will come to understand this in time and when they do we'll see these changes reverted to the kicking and screaming of the hardcore few.
Where do you get your numbers from ! I see the same faces over and over so most of the population cant be just causal pvpers , so come back with proof of this and I might side with your point of view
