Mounted Combat

Would you like to be able to fight from the back of your mount?
This would completely eliminate the "in combat but" that prevents you from mounting even though battle has ended.
Ofcourse we would need to implement some changes so that the speed bonus would not make us overpowered.
Post your ideas for such changes. Like for example: hard cc instantly dismounts people, mounting is on cooldown if you get dismounted, gap closers instantly dismount you if use one, you take fall damage when forcibly dismounted tc.

How about your mount engaging in combat as well and getting scared if it takes a lot of damage and running away?

No I don't want that.

I don't think mounted combat would be good in this game, but I would like the ability to mount in combat. It would solve a lot of QoL issues, and wouldn't exactly be unbalanced as any situation where you are mounting near enemy players would put you in an incredibly vulnerable position. On top of that, players can run as fast as fully upgraded horses, so it's not like it's an issue of horses being too fast.

You can already do mounted combat.

Back in the day I killed some dude with thunderous armor whilst on my mount after chasing him down...
