Is my character corrupted?

Hi. I think one of my characters has been corrupted. The game hung at the loading screen after I died and was in the process of respawning at a way shrine. I closed the application and restarted but it happened again when I tried to log in with that character. So I tired to log in with a different character and was successful. I tried again to log in with the original character and again the game hung at the load screen.
If it is a corrupted character can they save it or is it lost? I'm guessing its just that character because I can log in fine with another one.

They moved the character, geographically, and that seems to have done the trick.0
