SOLVED - Two-Zephyr Tea Problem - Levelled new Provisioner to 40.

I'm not ps4 however, the two-zephyr tea (like all recipes needed for normal level writs) can be purchased by characters needing it at chef/brewer.

You'd think. I've been to every brewer I can find. I've taken level 35, 45 & Cp569 chars to the Brewers. It ain't there. Tried the newb islands. Tried the 1st cities. Tried the last cities and those in between. Been hitting guild traders. Can't find one.

I figured it out. No idea why, but my 2 existing chars with 50 Provisioning do not see the entire list of writ recipes. So I levelled a new Provisioner, checking the brewer before and after raising recipe improvement. at 40, he sees the whole list of drinks and dishes. Anyways, thread can be deleted/closed.

In general, all characters only see the writ recipes they need for their provisioning passive (Recipe improvement) level, and the level below. Two zephyr tea is part of the level 4 writs, so it won't be seen by a character fully leveled in the craft (recipe improvement 6). It's even worse at levels 1-3, where the recipes vary depending on character faction.

I didn't notice that older/lower recipes disappeared.

That's rather stupid, imho. If you're leveled up, you should see ALL recipes. Whether you buy or use lower level ones should be up to you. Just my 2 cents.

That goes for any purchasable items.

Another solution, more useful for those that have all alts maxed or don't want to make a new alt, would be to go to a respect shrine and remove your Provisioning skill points. This'll let you revisit the lower-level recipe choices at the Brewers and Chefs.

Or you could always look around and find a player with exactly the right levels of Provisioning to buy them for you, but personally I prefer to just get stuff done myself.
