Light attacks and Lag in cyrodill

Well this is beating a dead horse... light attacks on my magblade with an inferno staff either not firing making light attack weaving extremely slow to near impossible. I tap to light attack, and the fire ball either just does not register resulting in my player standing there doing nothing, or it fires about 2 seconds after I hit it. I am wired directly into my modem before anyone starts asking

Performance in general is just pretty trash right now. More so than normal I’d say.

Went through random lag spikes tonight where either abilities wouldn’t fire off after several button smashes or I couldn’t swap weapons. It’s ridiculous and it’s gotten progressively worse in my opinion

It's not only light attacks. Skills are lagging as well in cyrodiil. Good luck trying to land cast time abilitiy during prime time on EU. Even instant cast skills either have a huge delay or just don't fire unless you mash the button which makes the whole idea of timing your burst a joke. Server performance in pvp, at least on Eu, is really really bad making the game unplayable. And I am sure they will not be prepared for the pvp event which will probably be even worse than midyear.
Meanwhile there are threads about class and combat balance changes that make no sense since none of that matters in an underperforming mess that is Cyrodiil. "Sweeps now have a wider range and you can turn around while you cast it!"... Great, then why do I have to spend 5 minutes on a resource spamming my sweeps in front of the guard's face but instead hit air since sweeps don't even register in the lag? And guards are not moving so try to imagine how usefull this skill is against players.

Try flailing with your staff and do the "turn-around" dance before you fire. That's what usually happens to me.

In US prime time, i can just use light atack, no one skill work... nothing work in really bcause the LAG.

pishaw... light attacks... you'll use heavy attacks that buffer and freeze and like it!

This happens to me outside cyrodiil too lol. You try to light attack and it either doesn't fire or your character starts doing the heavy attack animation (while not actually channeling anything) to then fire off a bunch of light attacks (that don't register).
This is happening to me in dungeons and trials can't imagine how bad it must be in cyrodiil.

Lagg got so bad for me about 4-5 weeks ago that i decided to finally quit.

has been this way for a long time.
is hard to play, but in time i think will be fixed if they keep working on finding the cause of this lagg.
because it is all from lagg.
