Really upset over this upcoming patch..

I'm really upset over this warden nerfs coming, specifically the Arctic Blast ones and the Bear.. Ever since we were notified i've just got less and less interested in ESO i know my warden will be worse off and i have no interest in using other classes like i did my ICE magwardens..

I just cannot play i login run around a bit and well log off knowing in a few weeks i might be no longer playing.. Really bums me out tbh..

Anyone else feel this way?

There’s nothing that can be done, they’re not gonna change. I’m just as disappointed as you.

Maybe it’s time to have a serious think if you want to stay. No point sticking around for a couple weeks now if you’re pained now, just pull the plug.

Agree. To my mind there has been a relentless push to slow player progress down. Whatever the reasons behind this, the game is now so slow and unexciting that any fun, regardless of how you play, has been sucked out.

I held off buying Summerset and then caved in. Sorry, it was even more boring that I had expected. I only got it for jewellery crafting, but that process is so slow and expensive that it simply IS NOT FUN. I didn't even try for the Psyjic portal quests, simply to avoid the disappointment of discovering, yet another boring, drawn-out process that potentially offered little in return.

I didn't renew my ESO+ subscription.

The problem is Cp. The more we get the more nerfs incoming. They don't know what to do with the Cp problem.
810 coming soon, what happens when they hit 1000 cps? More nerfs to compensate.

The Arctic Blast change makes no sense. It was a dot/ heal with passive maim. Now it’s a bad dps skill.

Or you could wait and see if the overall changes are as bad as you're assuming they will be.

I know exactly how you feel, OP. I loved to pvp but knowing the patch will hit in a few weeks, I just cant bother to go to Cyro at all anymore. All I do at the moment is BGs in the mere hope of getting my last 3 missing Fanged Worm/Horned Dragon chapters.
On the bright side there are 2 games coming out in around 1 month, which I honestly can't wait for.

I seriously disagree... we get stronger with every update , so what? Cp is one small part of it but gear is a key factor in our dps increase and zos will keep introducing new gears with every dlc as it is a source of revenue for them. So the idea of removing cp or reducing their increase is not a solution.

Old content becoming easier is nice, allows non elite players to pass some contents. Just make new hard content for elite players and youll be fine

I'm another who prefers ice skills, and I'm all about bear-themed characters (always have been, as it's part of my heritage, but as far as video games go, especially since the advent of the D2:LoD werebear druid).

So they're sticking to their nerf-guns on this, and yet, they caved on the Sorc nerfs?

I wish there were tons of people qq ing on the forums like sorcerers for wardens too. Too bad we are a paid class and a “weak” class on most aspects (besides stamden in pvp lol) so there are not much of us to make a big uproar to have them pull back the changes.

Even I am trying to write and up all the warden posts with a slight hope that we might get attention, which I rarely write, just read the forums.

Actually, it's only a stun/heal skill now. It doesn't do any dps at all. Which is a shame for all of us who would really love to play as ice mages. I don't understand why they didn't just change Arctic Blast to scale off of max magicka. The tank's role isn't to deal damage anyway (and they should probably be using Polar Wind anyhow for better group support). Arctic Blast is now a pvp only skill - who is going to use it in pve when bosses are immune to stun? You're better off with the extra heals.

I have come to the conclusion that there are some people in this world who would be much happier with things in their lives if they just didn't pay attention. The changes aren't even set in stone yet and they are dragging you down.

It's a game. Just play it. None of these changes are going to make it where you can't login. You will still be a warden.

Sometimes ignorance truly can be bliss.

For me it's a two-part dealbreaker:

1. The nerfs are utterly senseless. There was a post by a class representative that showed, quite clearly, that 99% of the population is going to suffer a significant damage decrease so that 1% of the population (in an ideal group with a perfect compliment of buffs) will potentially see improvement
   
2. They aren't listening to their customer feedback on this nerf. It is a one-way conversation.

So, I put my money where my mouth is. I bought a 3 month subscription to another game. I can't support being ignored as a customer here, so I went elsewhere. It's that simple.

These changes are making it painfully obvious that they don’t care... before pts 2.0 I said that these changes will show what they think of their Magden community... With the bear nerf, arctic blast health based heal no mag scaling ice damage stun rework fail, and complete deletion of bird of prey (one of the most fundamental skills of Magden PvP) they have given us their answer loud and clear... I will truly be surprised if zos reverts these nerfs and actually buffs Magden... We have given them feedback on how to do this... they just don’t seem to care

I’m having the same exact experience. Every time I log into my magden (one of my main toons) I just feel dread.

I can only talk about sorc for now. Haven't had experience with Warden yet.

The change is seriously needed. For the sake of other classes. Sorcs are upset for a reason. They had a very good time exploiting system of skills to get their damage and shields to play game easy mode (I wonder if complaints from Warden touch this easy mode as well). Now with damage shields being actually important (not just some trash HP you can conjure), it becomes a question of dis-empowering sorcs big time as without such change you would be left with a very powerful class.

Mind you, I'm not a fan of ZOS (I'm still mad at them handling launcher problem with ISP blame). However, I see current changes as shift from power grab classes Sorc and Warden to being less so, and fair to other classes. Why not do comparison now for your lost dps versus templar or nightblade? I bet you will be salty even then!

I have enjoyed eso for the 4 years I've been here and look forward to future adventures in Tamriel. Everything is nerfed and buffed in an endless cycle in all mmos. Every mmo has a forum filled with people leaving because they feel ignored on a certain update. Life goes on, it's not that big of a deal. Plus when you got one of each character it's like...whatever.
