In both Kastav and Dalbei all of the required keeps are taken but the number 1 person doesn’t get crowned as Emp. Is this intended for the event?

No ... What usually happens is a emp gets crowned and then abdicates ...
Then the same faction push for emp and get all the keeps but no emp is crowned ... This is because although the emp abdicated you still have to "lose" emp ... That means you have to lose all the emp keeps and win them back ... This often doesn't happen as people don't get the mechanic
My emp push in shor was so hard cos the damn emp before me abdicated and trying to get my own faction to let the other teams take the keeps was a nightmare
It was even harder cos we also had to defend them so the other teams didn't get emp either
36 hours of constant game play

- Alkosh
- D'Albei
- Kastav
You are still able to earn the Emperor achievement in all other Cyrodiil campaigns.

Salt is the wrong word, Disappointed, betrayed, waste of time and resources are more appropriate. See you on the other side if we are ever in the same timeslot.

It wasn't technically part of the patch, so the fix wasn't listed. That said, it appears as though Emperorship is now working after the maintenance we performed. Can you all confirm?

There should be NO emperors at these flip flop campagins.
You want than go play some campaign where you have to earn it.
I thought they disabled that on purpose but seems like NOT the case which is ridicilious to say at least.
I want Maelmstrom guaranteed weapons, all the trials skins with 0 effort. Can the PvP players have that too? It seems I'am missing some of those.
Come on ZOS have some RESPECT towards the your whindling PvP community. No freebie emps way too many of those already at the game as it is.

Seriously!?
Mindless NPCs are more difficult than intelligent human players?
Only one person in the PVE group gets the achievement necessary for the achievement tied reward, since when?
There is no comparison.
Other posters have already explained how there is a complicated set of circumstances to get emperor in which only ONE player can get it at a time as well and is having to compete against skilled/intelligent difficult-to-predict human players rather than scripted simple mindless NPCs that are easy to balance so that everyone has a decent chance of beating them.
You cannot compare emperor requirements to any PVE reward requirements.
It's just a ridiculously elitist unfair system for a cosmetic reward that everyone wants and should feel is attainable, but it isn't attainable for most.
They should just remove all rewards from pvp and make separate pvp gear with pvp stats(like other games have proved works well) so that everyone can compete in pvp from level one on skill alone, such that "git gud" actually means something, and everybody can finally have fun in pvp and play pvp for the pvp so that there is more competition rather than exploiting and pve players stay out of pvp.
Then we'll all be happy, unless the pvpers are lying about why they pvp and really just want rewards they can keep from other people because "them tasty salty tears" are their reason for existing.
I don't expect anybody to admit the truth "with a straight face" if at all though. They want to keep their elitist system lording it over others, and they know their true motivations are shameful.

What?
Okay, I'm gonna keep this focused on the emperor achievement. Emperor is supposed to be the crowning (heh) achievement of one's PVP career. Its achieved through dedication to your faction: taking and defending keeps, killing the enemy, and repairing walls. It takes the cooperation of your whole faction to get - one person can't claim 6 keeps without the help of allies. Once you have it, you are the Emperor, who defends your alliance and buffs your allies as one of the most powerful warriors on the battlefield.
Okay, that's a little idealistic, and we all know emperors who don't live up to that. Nonetheless, that's the ideal. For the emperors who actually live up to that and don't just treat it like a box to be checked off their achievement list, Emperorship is pretty incredible.
Is that elitist? Well, yeah, kinda. I'm never going to be Emperor even though I PVP regularly. I lack the skill and dedication to make a serious emp push. I also have too much respect for the people I know who made and defended their Emperorship to get it relatively cheaply on an event campaign. I also play alongside and against a lot of Former Emperors. Ive fought a lot of Emperors. You'd better believe I know which ones are actually decent PVPers. I know when I'm not in their league.
IMO, I understand why people get emperor through emp-flipping. Its not that different from the same reasons that lead people to buy carries in Vet Trials for cosmetic awards even though they can't normally complete the trial. But if you want respect from me, you'll PVP at the level of the Former Emperors I know who earned their titles through solid PVP play and supported their faction.
