How does the skill ranking work?

is it flat score?

is it some sort of kill to death ratio?

win to loss?

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Insight to Agree to Awesome Ratio = 1:6.04:2.76 as of 1/25/2019

Compared to people that I've ignored = I am 18% more insightful, 20% less agreeable, and 88% more awesome.

not the leader board, this ranking people are saying is causing them not to get matches.

    @Thogard

I think he's the guy to ask. From what I understand it's matches played total but I'm sure theres a skill calculation there too.

I think he’s asking about the leaderboard score rather than MMR.

Leaderboard score is a sum of your total medal scores for each game type for that leaderboard period (1 week)

    this =

    thanks!

    "Tested Hypotheses:

So if you're in a four man group with four different individual MMRs, which MMR is used for the group?
The MMR for the group is the average of the individual characters, after adjusting them for the size of the premade. To explain using the boxing "weight class" metaphor again, if you have a 150 lbs, a 160 lbs, a 170 lbs, and a 190 lbs fighter queuing together, we'd add 30 lbs to each since they're queueing as a premade four man... that gives us 180, 190, 200, and 210. Then we would take the average of that, which is 195. That 195 is the MMR.. or the "weight class" that the premade would have to fight in. I am 99.999% sure that it's the average of the group, and I am 99.999% sure that it's character based rather than account based."

So far the working theory is that it’s a sum of a character’s medal scores over the characters lifetime. We still haven’t seen any instances of the MMR going down, and it’s been over a month...

I talked with Brian Wheeler about it. He couldnt tell me the formula (for security/testing reasons) but said it involved multiple variables.

He was a really cool dude and I enjoyed talking with him but I still haven’t seen an instance of a character’s MMR go down. No lowering of MMR means that it can’t be based off of variables that can decrease... for instance we can rule out win rate and K/D because those variables would decrease if you fought nothing but premades.. which would lower MMR.

I’ve also had multiple people tell me that their opponent’s difficulty shot up on Mondays.. the day the leaderboard resets. So at this point I’m sticking with my original hypothesis, but I’m still very open to any new information that presents itself.

Having a character lower it’s own MMR would be a smoking gun.

Now that Gilliam works for ZOS we can’t test stuff together anymore :(
