Hi Axela,
Discord is a free voice and text chat that can be used to communicate with people you play with. it's not ESO specific.
in ESO there are many activities that can be done. some require a "group" which is 4 + people. a "trial" is a 12 man group with a specific set up.
pvp means Player vs Player.
pve means Player vs Environment
