ESO creating a new folder in Onedrive every time the game launches

Every time that I launch ESO, I get a Windows notification which says the changes cannot be merged to the folder in Onedrive/Documents/Elder Scrolls Online-DESKTOP-R4E1OIV, so it creates a new folder (Elder Scrolls Online-DESKTOP-R4E1OIV-2) and so on. Also, every time that I launch the game it makes me adjust the gamma, choose my server, agree to terms, and select which country I live in. So it seems like it is not saving my preferences. I am also unable to view any addons I have installed.

Please try disabling and removing OneDrive from your PC and then see if your preferences will save correctly afterwards.

Is that even possible in Windows 10? I thought OneDrive was built into the OS?

While you can't remove OneDrive, it can be disable or prevented from syncing. You can unlink OneDrive by following the steps below.
    1. Select the white or blue OneDrive cloud icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar.
    2. In the activity center, select More
    3. Select Settings and on the Account tab, click Unlink this PC and then Unlink account.

I'm having this issue as well. I have unlinked my OneDrive account and uninstalled OneDrive from my computer and deleted the Elder Scrolls Online folder from the OneDrive folder on my computer but every time I open the game it makes a new folder in the OneDrive folder. All my add-ons are installed on my C:/ drive and I want it to load from there, but it won't load from the existing folder on my C:/ drive. This only recently started happening after an update that enabled OneDrive to my PC
