Summerset Ending. [Spoilers]

That was an incredibly poor final battle for such a good and long setup. You smack veya (who was used awfully) a few times whilst nocturnal stands there, despite the fact that she could easily have killed you, and then you fix the heart and call it. Why... Did they run out of budget or something?

Even following the general premise, it could have been done so much better, here is how I would have done it.

• You fight and kill Veya in the main room.
• She goes shadow form and kills Darien.
• Darien in his final act of heroics, realizes he is a demigod and frees+empowers dawnbreaker, then dies.
• You then enter the top, the tower peak is manically changing shape in defense against nocturnal. (Which leythan said would happen more)
• At the center is the heart, and nocturnal's true form, the mass of shadows from CWC, throwing out attacks.
• You have to dodge and weave around the changing tower to not be hit by blasts of a god.
• You get close, and then use dawnbreaker in its full power to hold a barrier through the shadows and get to the heart. (Maybe with a glimpse of Darien, or a voice clip.)
• You fix the heart, and banish nocturnal as both she, and the light from the dawnbreaker fades.
