There are a few mechanics that have been messed up for quite a while now and i would love fir the Devs to at least acknowledge that these things are being looked into.
1.Snipe; This skill is really really buggy. I dont know if its the travel time the sound desync or an actual exploit, but more often that not when you die to this skill your character desyncs and you hear the ability sound well after your dead. At least 4 for me every time. One good easy change would be to decrease the travel time so a player cant have multiple snipes hanging in the air at once.
2. CC animations not playing. This one gets me every time. Im being outnumbered and i cast Igneous Sheilds, then i try to cast Deep breath and it doesnt fire off. My character stands still for like a second and a half before initiating the “Feared” CC animation. It would be nice if CC animations and sounds take priority over everything else.
3. CC’s not breaking. This was said to be fixed a long time ago when it was only attached to invasion but now nearly every hard knocdown has a 50% chance of not letting you break free. You hear your character scream, you spend stamina, and you gain immunity. Yet you still go through the full wake up animation. I have no suggestions on how to fix this.
4. CC’s firing off before thier animations. This is especially common with the NB skill Incapacitating strike. You lose control of your character well before the ability lands.
5. Guards Constantly casting negate. Its no secret that ability negation is a very very VERY strong tool to shut down magic builds, specifically immobile ones(MagDk and MagPlar).The amount of negates that tower and keep guards cast is extremely Oppressive and needs some type of adjustment. Its so bad that most of my fights near keeps and structures Makes guards a higher priority than the actual players. Maybe simply just minimizing how often they cast it?
6. Sorcerer Pets lack of Obedience. Its entirely too frustrating trying to keep up with my twilights HP and sheilds when its stuck behind a tree 30 meters away or zapping some Snipe Spammer somewhere off in the ether. Would it be possible to shorten their leash a bit? Maybe grant them the ability to streak when i do so consecutive streaks in combat dont put a huge distance between me and my Pet?
it would also be benificial to DW sorcs to change how to control who your pets target. Maybe have them attack Cursed targets?
