BYO PC specs for ESO?

Hi,

People are encouraging me to build a PC for my kid to play ESO on. But as I've played for the last year on a Macbook Pro, I'm no expert on PC specs needed.

I'm guessing the following:

16GB RAM (or 32GB?)
500GB SSD (or 256SSD + 512 HD)
Ryzen (some kind of AMD CPU) XXXX [ TBD, recommendations)
GTX 1050 (or 1060) Ti [seems to be commonly mentioned, what else would work?]

Don't want to be getting into overclocking or anything fancy, this is a budget machine - ideally < $800 for the entire box, leaving $200 for monitor and kb.
Where could you compromise? EG Just get a HD?

Thanks in Advance

I'm just glad I bought my 1080TI when it first came out... the price has almost doubled since then.

Word of advise...Don't mix CPU / graphics cards.
IF you are going with AMD processor, stick with AMD graphics card.
If you are going with Intel processor, stick with Nvidia Geforce.

    16GB RAM is recommended.

I've been running the game fine on 2 NVidia GeForce 660GTX video cards in SLI mode and an intel i5-4570 CPU.

What would be the right AMD graphics card for 1080?

So this is a budget build -- I should have made that clearer - I wanted to try and make this the best machine for playing ESO at < $800.

I guess, the Intel / AMD war has been going on for a long time, but this should be an easy test case:

For running ESO only, 60 FPS, Ultra 1080, both for Cyrodiil PVE and for Trials style content, whats the cheapest solution

8gb of ram is enough for pretty much any game right now,
