How about a "fun" summer collection of costumes - maybe a bit silly?

I think it would be ideal for us to have some fun costumes to break away from the seriousness for a little while. With summer just around the corner why not offer some cool swimsuits for our characters to enjoy?

In the game TERA they offer something just like this, I am including an image for you!

As much as I love those Summer events in other MMOs I've played.... it just doesn't seem to fit the feel of this game. Sort of how I feel about the crazy mounts, too - I had all sorts of wacky mounts/sprints/etc in other games I've played, but in ESO anything beyond the basic horse I have feels off.


(that said, I wonder how much the Fang Lair Bikini Chest motif is going to sell for once it's available )

Oh GAWD no. If ESO is going to start giving us revealing outfits of that level they better at least make them tasteful/simple/not Asian MMO-ish.

I will agree under one condition:

The motifs for such "summerwear" includes a motif for each piece, and they can only be found in the crater of Ash Mountain.

Im not sure that type of revealing clothes belong in eso. To many things that want to eat you. Looking at you Bosmer.

I know how you feel. My Castanic lancer was everything; stylish, strong body, never dying. No seriously, in every single mmorpg i've played, this lancer was the only character I've had who has never died. Altho...what kind of tank are you if you die? Not a very good one right?

Gods no. It's not like the game was hard either. Everything was telegraphed so if an attack was coming I knew to block or sidestep (it was usually block). Very low damage output, very high damage mitigation. When everyone else in the group wiped, I was still standing.

Lancer is literally: Block->Counter. Block->Counter. Block->Counter. Heal health if you need, and definitely heal stamina, bc blocking had a cost to it.

Doesn't fit lore etc, looks redicious. If it were in keeping say medieval style bathing not so bad but bright read Hawaii shorts and armbands? No.

Ah, sweet Tera... loved those giant Baraka running arouns in swimming shorts with duckling floats on their waists.

That said, I don't believe that this kind of crazy fashion is what ESO needs. It's a different setting, more "realistic" and accented on the world itself, player characters being more like plot tools meant as the vessels for exploration and immersion.

I would support this if the character models in eso looked as good as the character models in tera. Unfortunately eso characters just dont have them curves and muscles so they look more boring.
