How many items have you tranmuted so far?

All the gear I have is in the good trait for that set (infused, divines on DPS/Healing, sturdy on tank gear), and I don't chase Set Weapons so I don't sweat the traits there. I also know there is around a 1% overall difference between the good weapon traits, so again, no need to change my Sharpened' to Infused or anything like that.

And, I think I have like 7 or 8 Crystals, so even if I wanted to, it's gonna be some time before something is transmuted.

I do have a Transmute Station at my house though.

I dont think that feature was intended for ppl who use base loadouts around one crafted set + one zoneset for jewelery and consider armortraits that r "not training" as good enough.

I'm not subbed, so between weekly trials and pvp and pledges and this dungeon event I've basically had to find things to transmute so I didn't waste crystals or have coffers and geodes piling up in my inventory once I hit the cap.

So I've done 4 items so far. Infused Stormfist shoulders from the Golden vendor to divines, SPC resto staff from something that wasn't good to powered, and Asylum bow and greatsword from whatever they were to infused.

Quite possibly not the most effective possible use for these crystals, but that was the best I could come up with at the time and I cared more about using them than waiting around for a properly brilliant option to present itself.

My build is complete already. I just use the extra stones to turn weapons into nirnhoned trait then deconstruct it.

3 and I had to because I’d start losing them (cap) and not on stuffs that I regularly use and I’m only an occasional pve’r. Maybe it’s a ploy to get players into cyrodil because that’s where you get most stones

A big fat 0. I can't be bothered with chasing crystals. The only thing I'd transmute if I had lots of crystals are random drops to sell on Guild stores anyway. My final armor/weapon sets are good the way they are now.

As I see it there's no rush; I'll probably transmute the Infused monster pieces I bought off the Golden to Divines eventually, then those off-trait helms I got from the rare occasions I ran Vet dungeons. Then go through the non-crafted gear on my alts and see if anything can be switched to something more useful.

Master's Fire staff to infused
2 Infallible Aether armor to bis
1 of 2 Amberplasm swords from defending to nirnhoned. Going to give this set another try.

After the amber sword, I'm out of things I use actively. I think I'll eventually be tuning up rare weapons in the bank I've held onto.

Not quite to the point where I'm turning 50 stones into a nirncrux chance, but I like the idea of still getting use of them.

I transmuted one because I hit the cap and I had to.

Today I finally completed my research and Nirned my dropped greatsword the item I really wanted to change.

I might get around to transmuting more as I don't want to spend more time in vetWGT than I have to to get spell power cure for my healer.

I've transmuted a total of -zero- items.

All of my characters use entirely self-crafted gear, so my gear always has the Traits I want/need.

Thus, I have zero need to ever use the Transmute option.

I need to re trait a bunch of items. Mostly monster sets because RNG is crap. Unfortunately they made it so hard to get the damn crystals that I only got my first re trait done yesterday.

"contains 1-10 transmute crystals" = never once have I received more than 1 from that purple geode...

Master Bow: powered -> infused
Spinner inferno: sharpened -> nirnhoned
Viper 2H (Debaser): sharpened -> nirnhoned
Master Greatsword: defending -> precise

I still have 130/200 crystals ATM

3 vma bows, master bow, master 2h, and a training veli shoulder. Still got 100 crystals.

Who knew pvp could be so lucrative?!

So far transmuted 2 items: one weapon to nirnhoned and one training monster shoulder to sturdy.

I love this system! Especially because I hated farming bind on pickup dungeon items over and over.

I have about 170 crystals, just waiting until I collect some more sets for build I want to try, and then I will probably transmute the traits on 2 or 3 more items.
