150% or 100% xp scroll if you save the lady.So the rewards are identical no matter what you choose?
Not useless, but not not something you just need to have. You can buy it for gold, however going for long term buff over high short term will pay off a lot,

It makes sense to someone. Otherwise they wouldn't have done it.
the good choice you save a person and get a scroll whose buff you can craft, or sacrifice her for a better scroll you can craft... if you rp a good person its better to take the good choice
Indeed, it makes eating clockwork city produce a bit... ehhh. Makes me wonder why noone there thought of the obvious alternatives yet... I mean, there -are- criminals even in clockwork city, right? So...It would have been nice if I could ask him to fix the artificial light on the farm. That quest left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
I have yet to do this quest... but seems to me, as others have said, that denying her death so she can join her son is NOT the 'good choice' but the selfish choice- especially since it's just prolonging her suffering and anguish. Imagine if you, yourself was in the same situation... and someone had the choice of letting you die to be with your children or remain alive and continue to be miserable without them. What choice would you make for YOURSELF?
