furniture in a furnished house?

If I buy a furnished house can I move the furnishings around or remove something I don't care for? Can I add furniture of my own choosing to a house that comes furnished?

Yes, but you just can't sell it on the market if its anything from the shop

It's very well worth doing.

Even if you don't like some of the furnishings which come with the home, the value for money is too good to be missed. It provides a base which you would otherwise spend a fortune on. So just use what you like, move stuff around as you like, and shove the bits you don't want into cold storage or for another house.

Crown store furnishings are marked with a crown icon. You may move them from house to house, you may bank them, you may destroy them, but you cannot give them to another account or put them in a guild bank or guild store.
