Did i miss sth or the new witch house is lazy af?

I mean...seriously.....it's a hut, with small inner and outer space, and its furnished version is also quite lazy and ZOS want 4400 crowns? 2 dlc worth??

I do know the gold option is available soon but at this rate we can expect a farm house cost 1M gold now

well false advertisement that is states no longer is for sale the 250k since it has never been for sale for that price just saying it is not legal to advertise that way at least not in the Eu and i do carry some heavy fines in court also did make a post on it and thy toke it down lol

It's called a hut. By definition, huts are small, very crude single room structures. Not only is this a hut, it is a witches' hut. This witches' hut happens to be in a very secluded foggy, misty, swampy area. It's a place where a witch can live in near isolation. Witches living in areas such as this have very modest and simple needs which require very little space.

I can't think of any other witches' huts available for purchase in the game, making this a unique item ... unique items are going to be a bit more expensive.

@Dread_Viking Its available for sale starting with the Witches Festival...which starts tomorrow. You must have also unlocked the achievement for the festival "An Unsparing Harvest." The advertising here is quite accurate: https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/26213

Seeing as how the event has not started and you may or may not have the achievement "An Unsparing Harvest" unlocked yet depending on what you did during the event last year, this may account for why you can't buy the hut for gold yet.

It has a ton of outside area though, I thought it was a pretty good deal for 250k gold. I just wish the gold version came with the burning logs in the fireplace.

It's partway between the small and medium homes, so I think the gold price is okay. On the other hand the furnished crown version seems expensive for how few furnishings are included, especially because they're mostly common/vendor items, but I might have miscounted.

Plus, when I looked at it yesterday in-game, it stated clearly that it is only available for purchase with gold during the Witches Festival.

Agreed, could have been a lot of fun. Decorate the main house like a pleasant hedge mage's hut and then have your murder dungeon with all your dark magics in the basement under the rug
