Ah, there is the saltiness I remember from the forums. I guess you're right. We should never try to revisit old interests.
I guess I should ask if the Morrowind area is laggy and if it has interesting PvE content since I never purchased it and I sold all of my gear and gave away all of my mats and gold. So I would be most interested in the PvE content since I'll be starting over (sort of).

On-topic: why did you quit? Despite the forum's general malaise, a lot of things have changed. If you are mainly interested in the solo questing, Morrowind is great and will be worth picking up and playing through.

I quit because the DLC stuff seemed too small for what I was paying, and the housing just felt superficial and empty, and PvP was still pretty laggy. Main reason I quit was that the game just felt like an endless compulsive grind. I found myself farming for hours and it didn't feel like I was playing a game.
I was hoping Morrowind would be better, but then they said it was not a DLC and that lost me. But I would consider playing again and even paying for the "expansion" if it's worth the money.

People changed, as they always change, so if there is no change in the game, maybe you hop in and quit your former guilds and start with others, seek new friends. Then, maybe, you'll see some overall difference.FortheloveofKrist wrote: »Is it worth loading up again? Has anything really changed much in the past five months?

Online gambling component?
Have ye forgotten the crown crate interface? The one where a slotmachine khajit skooma addict blocks your ability to buy cosmetic items by instead giving you a paid chance to maybe "win" them?FortheloveofKrist wrote: »DeadlyRecluse wrote: »I support all things brother-slap related.

Given your goals for enjoying the game, your original reasoning to leave was the best decision. #nosaltnoshade

I completely quit playing this game about 5 months ago (Console, PS4 NA). Was thinking of playing again, but I wanted to ask...what is new, old, fixed, still broken, etc.?
Is it worth loading up again? Has anything really changed much in the past five months?
Thanks in advance for any input you may have!

Well I'm going to go play games none of you have every heard of... like Ballout 4, a game where you are locked inside a basketball court arena for years while the world rides out nuclear war...or Cattlewield 1, a first person shooter where you you and a buddy can ride cattle through the desert and take over green pastures.

Lol.
Well I do. I enjoy doing dungeons with guild or pugs (just a good time chatting and killin things) I really enjoy PvP ( I avoid peak lag times). I am kinda looking forward to CP in BGs (more build ideas) and I enjoy BGs as is
I enjoy duels and small scale/solo pvp.
I avoid vet trials and massive PvP lag
I love theory crafting,. Just finished up a new build
If you manage to avoid lag, it can be a stellar experience. I also RP a bit to myself while questing

there's a reason you initially enjoyed the game, and, invested your time in to it...there's a reason why you left...
sounds like you may not have found something better yet...however, if you already know the game bugged you once, why let it bug you again...
