Interactable fires?

I'm a bit behind with housing, since I only just got enough to get my first house with a fireplace, but isn't it a bit cheap to only make fires available if you purchase them with crowns? Are there fires available you can buy with gold instead?

According to this website (https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/furnishings-crafted), you can get some camp fires as blueprints through legerdemain/drops. I haven't found one yet. Though I don't bother with trading guilds, perhaps you may be lucky and find something that way?

I don't think they are for sale through NPC vendors for gold, but I could be wrong.

I have a character that knows a plan for a bricked-in firepit thingy with live fire that's khajiit. There are other blue and purple plans that give fires of different sorts too, as well as the abundance of different braziers.

I once saw an image of someone`s house, where he made a "stove" with interactable fire - by simply putting a torch (interactable fire) in it, so that only the flame part is visible, so it might work that if you have a fireplace and put 4 - 5 torches in it, with just the upper top of the torch visible, that it might look like firewood and you would be able to turn the fire on and off


or you can use for example this (craftable according to this web site): https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/daedric-brazier-table/
and if you place it so, that only the top (fire) part is visible - if you put it into the fireplace - you have interactable fire!
