Morrowind for Mac User from PC

A friend of mine recently bought a Mac and upon logging into the game realised he does not have access to Morrowind on his Mac, despite being the same account he'd pre ordered it from when using his PC. Does anyone know what the deal is with that? Or how to remedy it?
