I'm sorry I offended you and didn't mean for them to take away your goats or what have you in place of my wants. I see you mentioned twice that all players don't want what I'd like to see so obviously I touched a nerve. I honestly don't see alot of pigs roaming behind people or goats for that matter. As a paying customer of ESO for 3 years it would be nice to have some more variety and not just a recolored pig or some other critter that an adventurer wouldn't have tagging along with them. If that's what you want, fine, but add more types for everyone.

For something I thought would be a light hearted thread for more animal additions for the adventuring type has obviously upset the first person to reply and an "ambassador" at that. . No wonder I try not to post of these forums much.

You read @Turelus post in the wrong tone then. He wasn't trying to waggle his finger or sound obnoxious, just basically pointing out that everyone likes different things and that not everyone will be happy with the current selection

Personally, I'm pretty much indifferent to the issue since I don't use any of these, but I'm all for having more options for other people as long as they're at least semi lore friendly

Then he too read into mine and took it in the wrong tone. I tried to type it up during my break at work and it might have come across as I want my way or the highway but that was far from the case. As a mid 40s adult when someone repeats something to me more than once trying to make a point I get it..I've raised kids, I know the drill. Reading his response felt condescending and I don't deal too well with that tone.

Some of my coworkers who play the game are always like man why'd they add a pig or other animal. We cann't understand why they leave out the most basic of hunting type creatures. I get it, some folks like those and that's perfectly fine but it would be nice to see some more "adventuring" animals. Can you imagine Drizzt running around with a goat? It definitely wouldn't give off that heroic feel. If you're at your house gardening and you want your goat to hang out with you and eat grass, sure that's awesome! I feel like they need to add more.

The one goat that has eyes that change to demonic red and whispers to you? Why would that be appropriate for a drow?

Dunno, I mean, there are cows in some parts of Tamriel, so it wouldn't surprise me to see something like that eventually.

reading over the posts I don't know why so many people are hung up over the OP considering that clearly his point is that there should be more pet variety, not to argue which animals are cool or not.
I would LOVE bird pets - preferably tropical but I know my spouse would buy birds of prey. the game already has a peregrine falcon bird model (Reaper's March)
