Where can I most easily obtain the recipe, Withered Tree Inn Venison Pot Roast?

I have been searching traders all week to no avail. Every zone chat I post in yields zero replies. I'm thinking, my best bet is to try to farm it somewhere. Any suggestions? Or, if someone on the ps4 mega server has it, I'll buy it from them. My PSN ID is Deathnote1981.

searching pots etc will of cousre give you a chance of dropping it - but your best bet would me max level provisioning writ, provisioning is quite an easy craft to level so do your max level provisioning writ on as many characters as you have/can bare

since you are a self confessed recipy horder you may want to consider having 6 characters each with a diffrent provisioning profficiency do your provisioning writs ever day - best way to get loads of recipies for you 'main chef' imho

Good point, I found one in a trader finally for 70k and said screw it, lol

Guild stores is your best bet, I believe. I know I had to craft it for a master writ and I just gave up. The recipe itself was like 30k or something crazy, and I didn't want to spend that kind of $ of 3 writ vouchers.

As for farming, I think you may just have to get lucky searching containers and what-not.

me? I just sold the master writ instead of hunting that recipe.

hunting time spent searching for a 20k+ recipe to run a 2 voucher writs was not adding up to me.

Cool... so, no trade vendor has had it, I've checked every one I can think of... I'm a recipe hoarder, so, I'll keep searching, even if it takes me all year.

From my experience, they're found in Craglorn trunks, urns, etc. I've found several there and that's the only zone I have found them in.

Also, I sell them for 15k in zone chat. PS4 NA

Wow. On XBox, that recipe is the most expensive one on the market. It lists in traders for 125-150K. I bought it in chat for 100K last month when I needed it for a Master Writ.

I made up for that a few days later when I accidentally found the Agony Ale recipe, which also normally lists in traders for ~100K, for only 5K in an out-of-the-way trader that I stumbled upon by accident. Best. Find. Ever.
