The very first screenshot I took of my first character going through Coldharbour. I was tickled pink that there were non-hostile Lamia around. I crossed my arms and had a staring contest.
Reaching Vet Level for the first time with my first character. Yes, she was a MagSorc. Yes, that's Heavy armor and a Sword & Shield... Truthfully back then when I finished Coldharbour and got into Cadwell's Silver, I really wanted to change my playstyle, be something like a BattleMage with a Blade. You could say I tried making a Hybrid, but I have no memory of how it worked out. It was most likely bad.

✭A couple of days after the official launch, fishing in Stros M'kai. Makes me a little sad as it shows the original-style light armour redguard attire that was much nicer than the hideous new style they changed to.

The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.
Rulz of Morrowind:- The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
- The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
- Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
- Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
- Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
- Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
- Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
- And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.

was not much lag back then as more of the data was client side.
then dupers figured out how to dupe gold mats and they had to update the game and shift more of the data server side causing much more back and forth between individual clients and the server. this was the same patch as the lighting overhaul, and thus goes down in eso as the infamous "lighting patch" that destroyed cyrodil
and the game has NEVER been the same, though they are always trying to improve itESO player since beta.
previously full time subscriber, beta-2024, game got too disappointing.
