Mid-air dueling area

I’m trying to build a mid-air dueling area in my house but keep having some problems. When I cc people with meteor or dragon leap, it will knock them through the mid-air stage I built with stone blocks and planks.
Has anyone successfully built a mid-air dueling area that is fall-proofed?
So far I have tried 2 layers of stone blocks, putting planks on top of blocks.
Any advices would be greatly appreciated!

You could try using the giant mossy boulder.

Can you let us know if you find something that works?

The only thing I've found is you can duel on the fixed (non movable) mushroom in front of the Amaya lake house. If you put down platform blocks on top of the mushroom (to create a flat surface), you can cc without dropping to the floor, as long as your platform doesn't extend past the mushroom edge and the gap between the platform and the top of the mushroom isn't too big.

I think that mushroom may be part of the house structure. I will ask around and see if any friends of mine have access to that house. I am also looking forward to the telvanni tower which is a giant fixed mushroom. Hopefully I can build a platform on its roof.
