Skill line not showing

So I equipped medium armour for the first time, but didn't get any pop-up saying "skill line gained: medium armour". Since then, I am periodically told "medium armour increased to X", but I still see no skill line when I press K. I wrote to support, and they suggested all sorts of things: soft reset character, reload ui, disable all add-ons, repair game files. Of course I tried them all, and of course, none of them worked. I wrote back to support and told them that nothing worked, and they suggested that I post here. I don't know how they think making this post will help, but I'm doing it just the same. So...can anyone fix my problem?

How many pieces are you wearing? Think you need 3 now (and earn some xp whilst wearing them) before the skill line is showing up now.

Oh really? I'm just wearing one, so maybe that's it. I'm still getting XP in the skill line though... Will try this once the game comes online. Thanks.

Yeah the changes require 3 equipped pieces of whatever armour type you want to unlock. It's a bit of a pain as I tend to craft my new toons training gear but it's no problem just to grab a few pieces off mobs while you're running around

so you can not equip 5, 1, 1, to level all three of them?

Now you need to wear 3 pieces to level each?

You need to wear 3 pieces and earn any amount of xp to unlock the skill line (so it is visible to you).
You don't need to wear 3 pieces to level the skill lines.

It's like that since the update.
