Marksman's Crest

Marksman's Crest has always been a great set for stamina bow users (+8% damage with bow skills against enemy players). However, I'm thinking the second 5-piece bonus (-5% stamina cost for all skills) might be well worth running on a stamina melee build, maybe even better than Bone Pirate's Tatters. I'll have to try out both setups when the update goes live. Thoughts?

This is an old favourite set for me and you could be right and I'd give it a go for morrowind but it's super ugly

I've used this set with bow/2h maul since imperial city. With a redguard stamblade it works great melee

I run this as jewelry and a shoulder piece and bow and one piece monster set and i switch my 5 piece a lot and use a maelstrom weapon and just having it on the backbar for vigor and shuffle and buffs helps a lot

I have been using this with Morag Tong and love it on my bow and 2h.

I'm running it with eternal hunt, sword and board w/ bow and 1pc kragh. Seems to work pretty well. I think I might try to get a Masters sword and bow to complete the set.

I've been trying swamp raider with morag instead of the marksman when I go for bow defense on a wall.

Im running it with 5 hundings 1 kena 1 veli on my stamplar. Im thinking of switching hundings to night mothers embrace. Its the stamina version of kagrenacs. 50 less WD but more regen.

Too bad marksman doesn't come in any other weapons asides from bow anymore, wanted to use the set this patch.

That's true, but you can do a build with jewellery and two body pieces easily enough.

I just put Marksmen back on last night, and slotted snipe to take further advantage of the 5 piece bonus. (No CP, Xbox NA so still pre 3.0)

I think I will use this once Morrowwind drops. Sustain felt great even with 3 damage glyphs on my jewelry. I'll be dropping Spriggans, but hopefully HA won't be the Meta for BG's so the loss of physical penetration won't be too bad.

Hundings/Marksmen/VMA 2 hand/Master bow with Cameron throne food and 7/7 medium or 6 med/1 heavy is pretty darn good tbh. Bow builds will perform well in battlegrounds. Might be a go to for DKs.
