Major Expedition Bug

I'm consistently getting a bug in maelstrom arena with the major expedition from Vicious Ophidian. It seems to occur if i activate a sigil or try to use an ultimate when VO procs, leaving my character unable to attack or use most of my abilities until the major expedition wears off. During this If I try to light attack it won't work and if I heavy attack the character rapidly makes the sound of multiple light attacks, but it won't finish the animation or damage the enemy.
