So Does the new HA mean no more sustain problems?

Basically once the Regen changes were announced many players were upset/worried about sustaining.

I'm curious as to what the community thinks about the HA resource return (heavy attack) and if it's enough to disregard said changes?

I'm under the impression that the new HA speed is approximately 2 secs. If this is the case then I personally see it being very effective at keeping resources full.

But I did not see the ESO live, everything I know is second hand.

Are you, the community, still thinking that resource management will still be as difficult or not?

Edit: I post this here because I'm more concerned with PvP than not.

I don't think it is the end but it's a step in the right direction . Cost reduction on DK abilities , another siphoning strikes change and more balancing for Sorc in the future . We will see . I'm just happy they finally found the PSR and reversed course a little .

But it is a pretty big impact? I'm asking because a quick fire heavy attack seems to be very reliable and if it is I very well may have to redesign my build.

DKs may be less effected, but what about Templar?

My Pet Sorc has used heavy attacks for resource sustain for years (literally) and he has always been fun to play.

It's funny to think that this play-style will now be the new meta ...

We'll need complete testing and data to determine. But, only lightning, resto, and DW(to a lesser extent) heavies are currently reliable to sustain on live and I can't really see that changing. 2h and SnB heavies charge slow, destro heavies are dodgeable projectiles, making them subject to tons of counters.

Even with the heavy attack speed buff, you still have to deal with scales, snb ulti, warden absorb, snb reflect, and eclipse for ice/fire heavies, not to mention they're flat out dodgeable.

Forcing heavy attacks as sustain hurts melee only builds. Some people dislike running 2H/Bow.

But I guess that is what I get for running SnB/DW and not using Gap closers since I just fall through the world.
