2H Cleave Buff, Good or Still Terrible?

Anyone else kind of interested in cleave now that it's getting a damage buff? Might be interesting to use in both forms for stam users either to throw up some shields or more likely, as a way of getting minor heroism without using SB. It's even cheaper than venomous claw for DK by a significant amount. Venomous claw is still more powerful of course, but shields/minor heroism are enticing now that damage is up.

Iv'e Been interested in using it in conjunction with infernal guardian and a Master's 2H and Sword singer's Could be a potent Aoe setup for 2h as just in general play, A 2h/2h setup would be neat. (Masters/ Maelstrom)

As a confirmed two handed addict it's gonna be a big buff to me, I can't wait to see what my stam nightblade, (or as I prefer to think of him) the one shot kitty can do with that

If it handles like it does on the pts then I just one shot a target of preference from stealth, normally anything that roots or to be honest nightblade npcs in general, then swing that round a couple of times, chuck in a heavy attack and wait for the first low Heath target to start the reverse slice chain reaction

16% buff really isn't that much IMO if it had a single target morph that hit harder it could be worth it but I don't see it being that good for pvp which, let's face it if your using a 2H your likely a pvp build anyway

But paired with the first passive from the 2h line it could start to add up. Maybe only useful as an ult generating replacement for venomous claw.

If your looking for minor heroism, heroic slash hits pretty hard, slows their movement speed by 60% for 12 seconds, grants minor heroism, and inflicts them with minor maim. Oh, and it's cheaper to use.

Carve you get heroism and a weak bleed, even with a 16% buff I don't see a reason to use it over heroic slash.

Not to mention with S&B you also have another armor slot and better defense via shield

Will the bleed stack with the battle axe bleed? Can cleave apply multiple battle axe bleeds? Might be powerful with dbos, caltrops, hurricane, etc.

All good questions. Idk that bleeds stacks though.

All true, I guess if you like to play a 2H and bow build it may have its used.

I use DW/2H for PvP and appreciate the buff.
