DPS tracking for boss fights on consoles.

Clearly the functionality is there in game if we can get the data spit out after a skeleton rotation test - I'm wondering why we don't have it for boss fights.

Seems to me like DPS data on a mechanics heavy fight would tell me much more about my efficacy as a DD than simply hitting a high number on a motionless skelly in a 60-80 second rotation test. I realize we'll never get PC add-on style combat metrics on consoles - but if we can get DPS numbers on a skelly, why not boss fights as well? Is there a prohibitive obstacle from a coding standpoint? Would it create a ton of lag or other stability issues?

Great idea, easier said than done. If you've been following the post regarding VMoL being broken, they have made statements that they were unaware of what was causing he issues and needed to log data. Frames in trials are terrible already with destro ults, grothdar, ilambris, walls etc. Xbox processor can barely handle what it's doing now without crashing and having bad frames, don't need to add more.

Bethseda likes to approach their games with a minimalist approach. I i doubt console will ever see a dps meter.
