Hi everyone. I was wondering which if any combination was better or it doesn't really make any difference; two daggers, dagger and sword or two swords.
In my opinion, this depends on what you want out of "Twin Blade and Blunt," the dual wield passive:
WHILE DUAL WIELDING
•Grants a bonus based on type of weapon equipped:
•Each axe gives your melee attacks a X% chance to bleed enemies for [x] Physical Damage over 6 seconds.
•Each mace causes your attacks to ignore X% of an enemy's Physical Resistance.
•Each sword increases your damage done by X%.
•Each dagger increases your Weapon Critical rating. (by X%)
There has been a lot of analysis on this question, with players like asayre breaking down the maths in excruciating detail. The bottom line is that there are several combos that are viable...two sharp swords, two precise daggers, a sharp sword and precise dagger, a precise sword and precise dagger.
The bottom line is that unless you're maximizing your performance to the extent that you're switching weapons as you move through a dungeon in order to adapt based on enemy resistance, armor type, etc...you can just pick what looks cool to you, lol.
Thanks folks. I do subscribe to the just go with what looks cool philosophy so that suits me. But I do enjoy a good bleed so that's good to know about axes. I didn't know any of that, Voodoo so that's good to know.
