Grouping Tool Bugs for 1-2 months

For over a month (2?) there's been problems with the grouping tool. A few rare times it disbands the group entirely, leaving us to wait for the cooldown to disappear before we can re-queue. Or as in most cases (70-80%?) the entire group is removed from the instance instantly upon entry into the dungeon. The group still functions though, so we can, and most do, just re-travel to the dungeon by wayshrine. However not every player knows this and this too can result in the group being disbanded. But most of all it's just a really, really annoying issue. And I thought I'd voice my displeasure with this bug, as it's been around for far too long..!

Yep. It worked ok before and people started actually using it a lot more.
But now it is just frustrating. What happened? Are they working on this?

I believe they have acknowledged the issues (I could be wrong) but have not given many updates.

Nothing happened on that issue so far although it would be desperately needed.

I don't think the ESO Group Finder has ever worked reliably since the game was released, and at this point, I don't believe it ever will. Our guildies has pretty much given up on it completely.

The new dungeon system is completely broken. It was definitely better before they changed it. Yeah, they added a ready check, whoopty doo, now there are so many bugs in it it's pointless. What's the point, make sure everyone is present before you get disbanded and have to wait another 15 minutes to requeue? Sucks even more if ur playing as a dps cause you waited 15 minutes to requeue, 30 min to actually get in a group, then disband again...I used to love running dungeons, primarily all that I did, now it's a waste of time to even try. Please implement the old system again and release this when it works. I've spent hours trying to run a single dungeon with 0 success. This has been going on for 2 months, when are you gonna address this ZOS?!?

I'm not sure if OP is on PC or console, but I play on Xbox and this continued to happen today. I was able to solo queue just fine a few days ago, but I two-man queued today and no luck. We were put into a group to be told our group wasn't viable. Then the group was formed. We spawn in the dungeon.... and then the group is disbanded and we are all kicked from said dungeon. Then to make it worse, we have a 15 minute wait to queue up again. This happened 3 times in a row. Needless to say, not fun.

I hope this gets fixed soon. One of the reasons my boyfriend plays with me is to raid dungeons and we can't get into a group to do that. A response on when this is getting fixed would be nice.

I'm on PC, and the Grouping Tool has been riddled with bugs for months. Many different bugs in fact. But reporting this issue doesn't seem to help.. :/

I know, bugs can't always be avoided and will sometimes just show in a production environment, but the developer(s) responsible for this tool should really be ashamed due to the number of bugs, some design flaws / user experience and the time this has not been fixed.

Bugs that I encounter almost everyday in descending order of seriousness, as I see it:
    • Getting immediately ported out of the dungeon when queued for daily -> porting back in,doing the dungeon does not count towards the daily and queuing is disabled for 15 minutes
    • Getting in again after being ported out will occasionally spam you with "dungeon ready" notifications
    • You can end up with dozens of "group not viable" etc. messages in a one second interval when a group has not been formed after accepting due to whatever reason until you finally get into a group. - But even this might not end some notifications.
    • It is not always possible to queue again in order to look for another group member and a nice description like "find another player" etc. for this would be nice instead of the default "queue for dungeon" which, given the state of this tool, makes you wonder if you maybe are leaving the current dungeon instead of just looking for a new player
    • Vote kick only possible when the group consists of 4 people. -- This one is debateable, but I once ended up with a group of 3 and the leader went afk before the last boss
    • The last remaining group member should always become the leader and not get booted out of the dungeon. Some players might just want to roam the dungeon to look for chests or want to have a look at the usually nice looking dungeons after trying to keep up with CPX00+ players but - even worse - some people can't even turn in their quests due to this.
    • Please don't clear the selection of dungeons that was being queued for after the dungeon was finished. Maybe only deselect the one that was just finished?
    • Please recreate the group composition that queued for a dungeon. It's just annoying that this is not the default behaviour

That being said, I wonder why in almost every game the auction house and dungeon finder seem to have been developed by the most unqualified person of the team... then again, maybe it's just normal, which would explain a whole number of other issues with performance and loading times...

Any news on this? It's really frustrating, yesterday 1h cd to do daily, today 15min and waiting for next try...

This is getting ridiculous... How many bugs and problem do we have to endure before they stop spamming news of Morrowind and new crown store items before they fix the grouping tool? It's been half a year soon with the immediate "removing from area" bug...

It's like they think the problem is gonna go away by ignoring it. Instead we get more bugs. Recently the I've noticed the "auto-disband" bug has returned..

Edit: please join me in sending in yet another batch of support tickets regarding these issues. Hopefully Zenimax might get a wake-up call.
