How is Spinners on a Magicka Templar?

Obviously for PVP, I was just thinking about how it would pair with Sweeps. I'm curious to see if anyone tested it as opposed to other damage sets such as soulshine, Rattlecage, kagrenac's, etc.

The penetration will provide more damage in pvp, with less damage against shielded targets than the others.

Spinners is great. You can run Rattle or Mother's sorrow in jewels instead, but I think its better than both of those options.

Soulshine all day. Sweeps, dark flare and radiant are so strong with it. Soul strike too.

Yeah that was the second set I was looking at, but I wanted to back bar the eye of the flame ult and figured spinner would work with that better

Neither improves your healing. Soulshine gives more damage than spinners to the abilities it effects, but it won't help with eye.

If you're looking for damage I'd go either:

SnB+Destro:
5 Alch(3 body + snb back bar)
5 Spinners (jewels, gloves, waist)
2 Skoria
Sharpened VMA Lightning staff

DW+Destro
5 Spinners(Jewels+sharp swords)
5 Heavy Julianos (Body)
2 Skoria

These builds both have insane damage output. I personally prefer the VMA staff setup, you lose out on damage from DW but you get that back from Destro passives + alchemist and you get block passives. You could sub out Mother's Sorrow or Rattlecage in either situation and get better heals, but Spinners outperforms them imo
