banished cells I - can't complete quest before I am kicked out of the dungeon

basically the Altmer are talking too much. The groups disbands and everyone is kicked out of the dungeon before they are finished.

Yeah, has happened to me as well. I just suggest asking in group chat to have someone hang around.

yub. Not that easy in a random group. It would be great if there could be some other workaround.

Do you tell them you are doing the quest?

Also, ask them to give you Crown (promote to Leader) before they leave. Then you can stay in there as long as you want after.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

@Nestor: That's not correct, giving the OP the crown is not going to help. As soon as everyone else leaves your group, the group is disbanded and you get kicked out, no matter if you have the crown or not. There's no "one-player groups" in ESO.

Maybe with Group Finder it is, but I have stayed behind in Group Dungeons quite often after every one leaves. One of the benefits of not using Group Finder I guess.

Ah yes that's possible. If you don't use the finder but everyone ports in manually, it might work to stay in after your group disbands.

And yes indeed, the group finder is in an abysmal state at the moment.

I've soloed Banished Cells, and so have many, many other players. So it's certainly possible to succeed alone there.

Sure, that's another possibility. Just screw groups and finders and solo the place. ;)

When group disbands or when everyone leaves a counter will start ticking vwmwfore you are relocaed. Having crown makes no difference. Being in a group finder or just invite playerll free VR aw

@FrancisCrawford - thanks! I didn't even consider this. Don't ask me why.. . It wont be easy with my newb character but then it'll be a challenge. The point of the whole exercise is to complete the quest, of course.

@fiftypercentgrey - on what server are you? I'm sure that there are plenty of people here who would be willing to run the dungeon with you and wait a bit so that the quest can complete.

I generally try to wait, but there have been cases where life happened and I simply had to quit the group once the final boss is dead.

Not elite, not the best. Just enjoying ESO.
Not the worst either. "Casual" != "totally ignorant"

Maybe they can be kind enough not to leave group for a few minutes, even if they've already left the location and gone off to the bank or whatever.

Soloing a dungeon requires either an advanced character or good playing skill.

I went with the first option. :)

after everyone leaves the group ? or after everyone leaves the dungeon ?
You can stay in the dungeon alone as long as you want, provided there's at least 2 people in the group.
But in my experience, if everyone leaves the group, you're screwed.

What platform are you on? I have the same question that I'm trying to turn in.
