It was a good set before homestead bro, now there are better options, better off with bone pirate tatters. I used it with viper bloodspawn, 2h n bow on a stamblade, eternal bow, viper 2h. It WAS amazing. Now with changes to sets and other stuff it sucks and I have deconstructed all my yellow eternal. No good player uses it anymore.

The damage from the rune is meh, but it does seem decent for crowd control, and it's around an 8% damage loss, but the extra regen is nice as well. I'm just trying to make dodge rolling a viable option still.

It offer's for great crown control, especially paired with Rearming Trap and that can be used in connection with Shadowy Disguise -> Burst to turn fights around in tight spaces (sewers etc.)
Also, you know how you animation cancel stuff with roll dodge? Well, that's another real nice use for it, just take the basic combo of Heavy Attack -> Incap and add a roll dodge to it instead of an execute, which also frees up a global. Just an example. If you expand on that you can get some pretty sick stuff going on with that rune. Fearing immobilized people is also pretty good as a side note.
The kiting potential of this set is through the roof when paired with Shadow Image and a few rocks to run around.
I still think that its a great set. There are better proc sets for dealing damage for sure, but none offer as much utility and offensive/defensive options as Eternal Hunt.
You could argue that Bone Pirate is better. Of course it is. But why not combine the two and slap on some vMA 2H and a Master's Bow?

I noticed this as well when I tried it; which made this set quite appealing to me. I was just so used to seeing bad players use it that it detoured me from using it.

I'm talking about the guys that Ambush you, and then spam dodge roll repeatedly in hopes that you'll pursue them. I'm talking about the guys that dodge roll more than they attack. Those are the untalented ones I speak of. I find way more of those kind than the kind that actually use the set intelligently.
Strider_Roshin wrote: »Btw @IzakiBrotherSs thanks for the root + Mass Hysteria combo example. It's that kind of thinking that makes me feel like this set has good potential in the right hands.
