Destro staff weaving or animation cancelling.

I noticed more and more people are simply light attacking with the distruction staff rather than medium or heavy attacking, are they weaving? If so, how is that done on a staff? Is easier to do it with a 2h, I do it all the time, but how with a staff?

How do you weave? Just click the light attack mouse button in between force pulses.

Why do you weave? To proc stuff. More shots = more hits = more proc chances. Spell damage proc. Burning spell weave. Mean *** like poisons.

It's a personal preference thing, I prefer medium attack weaves (two fire bolts instead of one), and heavy attacks on the opener to start a fight ahead. But it's been awhile since I used a Destro PVP build.

This has become progressively worse from Tamriel One to Homestead. It is a problem with both Bows and Destro Staves.

Also certain skills ie: Swallow Soul, Acid Spray... do not behave well with light weaves, but only perform consistently with medium/heavy weaves. At least that's my experience.
