working mini map after the homested patch
just as the title says -
I'm on the hunt for a mini map,
either stand alone or part of another mod,
I don't mind but feck me I must be going blind 'cos for the life of me I can't seem to find one from the normal mod outlets
any help?

✭✭✭✭✭Get Votan's mini map, its really great and causes no performance issues that I can tell even in Cyro. Was using Fyrakins minimap and would have to disable all the time to get good performance. In fact I think deleting it altogether helped a lot. Votan's is simpler but I really dont miss any of the features.1 -
Alagras✭✭✭Fyrakins disappears like 50% of time for me, not sure why. So I switched to Advanced UI's one and am rather happy with it.2 -

Annalyse✭✭✭✭✭I used AUI minimap until just recently when I was told that Votan's was easier on the system (performance-wise) and also worked with the addon I use that removes unknown houses from the map. And I am really liking it.1 -
I got a bit lazy in the end seeing as I had AU already installed but switched off due to being out of date, I just "allow out of date add-ons" and it's been fine
mind you i do also have votans map instaled just switched of, the only problem with that was it just seems to be in the center of the screen and i can't find the any controles to move it - *** hum

You can grab Votans from the very edge of the minimap. If you have the border transparent it can take a second to find the right spot, but I can reposition mine from the bottom edge of the map. Just keep trying.0 -
