Is pvp still this bad?

I last played PvP over a year ago and after bored with pve farming/dungeons I was debating whether to join in Pvp again for some fighting fun...
Then I came across this video of a virtually unkillable player, wondering how exactly garbage like this is even allowed in the game?
Has it changed since the video was made or is it still full of these unkillable builds making any fight boring and pointless?
- Sit back, have a slice of Pizza while 5+ players throw everything at you without fear of you dying- sounds legit.

1.He healed an ally for 2k on Bol.
2. No quality enemies. (Unorganized)
3. They were using finishers 70% of the time
4. Should have just continued to siege
5. I would just ignore him
6. Liquid Lightning and Wall of Elements are not going to do anything
7. He couldn't hurt anything
8. Why does everyone have to be a DPS? maybe he wants to tank5 -

Have to agree with others here...why do you care if players like this exist? They literally have zero chance of ever killing you. If you run into someone running a troll build like this you simply ignore them.0 -

✭So many NB's, so little fear. Rooting / CCing would have made all the difference.
That's why i rarely compliment such builds, as it needs pug / inexperienced player groups like on the video to work. This is no exception.
When i see this done to, say, more experienced PvP guild group, i might give a lazy thumb up. But oh, they rarely take that bait.NB enthusiastic:- Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE

✭✭✭✭Sadly, OP if you play in CP campaigns it is. ✭✭✭✭✭That video is a bad example because the quality of attackers was hilariously bad.
NB never using fear. He should have used it exactly every 7 seconds.
Templar using his weakest full health attack, RD, the ENTIRE fight.
The rest doing little else but heavy attacking the whole time
Also they were all lower level, and the guy was built as a tank and could do virtually no damage.
So to answer your question (in a way you didn't expect), yes, terrible players still exist in PvP.1 -

✭✭At least, if you want to showcase unkillable tanks, do it with a proper video. 5 extremely mediocre players who have trouble light attacking could be tanked on just about anything...
