WIdowmaker with charged trait?

RioterJalena
I have a widowmaker mace with charged trait. I almost deconned it then thought would charged increase the chance of alchemy poison firing. I have been asking around and getting different answers from people. I believe the chance to fire a poison is 20%. So if i upgrade the weapon to gold, i can get the poison to fire ~60% of the time?

    Nope. It only increases the chance to apply status effects, such as poisoning, concussion, burning etc. Poisons are effectively weapon enchantments, so charged only increases your chance to apply the poisoning that is inherent to the poison damage of the poison.

    Man, that was a lot of poison in one paragraph.

    Does this mean that Infused trait improves the chance to apply weapon poisons, and by extension, their potency as well?

    Charged = Decon

    I'm actually using charged with shock enchant, force pulse and lightning blockade on my templar (with spriggan set) and it's very good in solo play and 4-man content.

    Spriggan set? That's either a typo or the worst build I have ever heard. Haha. All that physical penetration. :smile: (think you mean spinner). I still cant believe its better than sharpened.
