Installed but web updater is not working

First I want to say that zenimax has done a awful job on making this game work. I feel I have been scammed with the purchase of the elder scrolls online. The first problem I encountered was the game not installing due a installer not functioning properly. When I finally managed to install the game with this guide:
Solution (win8):
1) Run the downloaded "installer"
2) Look in c:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Temp (AppData is a hidden directory)
3) Find a directory similar to "I1427247224" with a date and time of when you did step 1
4) Inside that directory go to InstallerData/Disk1/InstData - you will see a compressed file called "Resource1"
5) Inside "Resource1" go to $IA_PROJECT_DIR$/src_path
6) Copy the folder "Launcher" to a drive and location you can get to (I chose the root of C:)
7) Inside "Launcher", execute "Bethesda.net_Launcher"
8) The "Launcher" will update and restart.
9) Once the "Launcher" is running again, click the INSTALL button
I encountered the second problem, and this was that the game was installed in my temp file in windows.
So I moved all the file to my normal directories and made it work. But the problem that now occurs is that the web launcher doesn't work anymore.
It will load very slow when I start it up and most of the time it says the program has stopped working after a minute of two. So with the recent patch I am not able to play the game. I have never had such a bad experience with a game and I find it neglectful zenimax has not resolved this problem yet. I payed for this game and all I get is a broken game and I am not the only one. There are loads of forum threads where this problem is addressed. So I think zenimax has to take its responsibility to fix all the problems with installing this game, or at least give people with this problem a key to download it from steam.
