Please read, reflect, and consider.

Because PvP is isolated from PvE in this game, how would you feel about separate values for PVP?

I mean numerical values coded into the game, so PvP damage and PvE damage are not the same therefore the balance changed do not overlap each other.

Lets just analyze some basic problems that could be corrected by just doing away with the Cyrodiil buff and just being given separate values.

-Processing Lag
-Cyrodiil Performance improved
-Proc Sets neutralized
-PvP balance is separated from PvE balance
-Base mechanics important again
-Separate market for PvPers from PvErs, so we do not have to engage in PvE content to be relevant in the PvP side.
  • The potential for this being PVP sets that improve the base game mechanics again, like blocks, dodgerolls, animation/projectile speeds both player and siege
  • PvP only gear that focuses on enhancing PvP performance, rather than PvE gear that murders PvP performance
  • Crafting Sets that can only be made in Cyrodiil, with Cyrodiil only materials and recipes.

This would let us focus and enhance our gameplay in house without the burdens of outside numerical sources causing grave interferences and would allow the PvP team to fix Cyrodiil in house as possible.

Let me give an example:

We have base Ballistas, what if Ballistas were given slots in the ballista and components that enhances the damage of the ballista rather than relying on just flat damage?

Ballista has a slot for X.

X slot allows increased AoE radius, reloading speed, or travel speed.

Y slot allows for Fire, Lightning, Ice.

Z slot allows for Placement radius or range.

With this comes individual components farmed and sold within PvP thus creating a PvP market for those who do not wish to partake in the PvE experience.

What about the same for gear? Instead of having 2, 3, 4, 5 piece pre-determined bonuses, why not allow players to have control over their own PvP gear with individual components.

2 piece slot allows for movement speed or attack speed

3 piece slot decreases a single defense action, such as block or dodgeroll.

The point being, I think separate values for PvP will make balancing easier and open up a plethora of options, even which I did not list to truly enhance the PVP experience, opening up the use for dungeons in Cyrodiil, opening up the need for a useful map, spreading players out, keeping the PvP market and PvE market separate and giving players more control over customization of gear and allocations of resources.

If PvP and PvE are to be separate is the design philosophy of Zenimax, then why is it not being followed through with absolution? (rhetorical question)
