What type of armor should i wear?

Should I use 1 medium 1 light and 5 heavy? I'm doing this tankhealer hybrid called atlas by deltia and I'm wearing 5 light 2 heavy. Should I keep using 5light and 2 heavy I should i change?

I would experiment using the deltia build as a base template. While I'm sure it's a great build, it's still a build Deltia created. This means it reflects his playstyle, so your forced to play his way. Best way to combat this is to try different spells, try different weapons, and test out on mammoths in wrothgar before testing in cyro.

We can suggest lots of options, but it would not help you as much as asking specific questions and then making the build yourself.

Sad as it is to say, they aren't lying about the survivability buff in heavy vis-a-vis light and medium.

I used to run 7 divines medium, but now with five heavy impen I'm living through destro ults long enough to re-gank people. It's wretched.

As @Minno said, you'll need to experiment. As you do so, make sure to pay attention to the 2, 3, and 4 piece bonuses sets provide. Those can really seal the deal when choosing between sets.

Flipside, I just switched to light armor this patch. I was tired of this HA build I was using. Sure it felt great to survive, but at some point I was healing/blocking instead of going on the offensive. I was able to find a sweet spot for survivability/dmg in using 5 L,2H in that it feels balanced to me. But of course every build has a weakness and you have to accept them or try to offset those weaknesses.

For sets, you can choose crafted but they don't have jewels. Monster set give great bonuses for the requirements, but even one piece from those sets that help add value to your build (like pickibg Kena for the dmg bonus.)
