Daaaamn I wasted a lot of maps aswell! I specifically held like 30 of them For this... Will we get them back? Should I open a ticket? Also what about Key fragments For vaults?

Nice. Since homestead's release, I have spent all day/every day doing writ surveys and treasure chest maps. Maps I have saved since the game came out 3 years ago. Just finished them all and not a single painting. I did not find a painting in any of the regular chests I opened along the way, nor from any justice containers. How sad is this bug? I'd say super sad. Crap that was a lot of pointless treasure chesting.

As a side note, I found Ancient Sandstones, the Ra Gada style material, in random treasure chests in zones that were not Craglorn, probably at about the drop rate I would expect to see paintings (looted 9 of them, none of them from Craglorn). Perhaps they were accidentally coded into world treasure chests in place of the paintings?

By random world treasure chests, I meant treasure chests from maps, these chests found throughout the world rather than in Craglorn.

Not fixed, just went through about 15 maps in Shadowfen. Today is 2/12/17 11:53am PST

Yes, can we get some information about this please? It would be nice to know when we can use our treasure maps again.

Well I didn't see anything in the patch notes about this problem being fixed. So I am gonna guess it wasn't? I know there are a lot of people waiting for this fix so I am not understanding why they can't at least tell us when they intend to fix it. @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_GinaBruno

Hey folks, the Systems team is still working on a fix for this so it wasn't included in today's patch. When it goes in, it'll be in the patch notes so keep an eye out for it.

Please give us an ETA for this fix!

Given you've now put highly desirable housing patterns in chests it's now important that these treasure chests are fixed to also drop them. I now have 86 maps on several characters taking up valuable inventory spaces, it's getting ridiculous, especially as they're 'unique' and therefore can't stack.
