2.7.5 invalidated my addons

2.7.5 (Homestead) invalidated all my addons. I had to enable Allow Outdated Addons to get going again. Why would it do that and how do I fix it so I don't have to allow outdated stuff?

✭Update your addons as the updates become available from respective authors/developers/programmers.
Some would be updated immediately and some may take time, depending on the author and/or complexity of the addon.
I think that there are quite a few changes to the API, check 'Natch Potes' for details, I read this in the first set of Homestead PTS Patch Notes.0 -
calia1120✭✭✭Even if addons say outdated, many of them may still work with the current patch - being current is simply a value in a text file.
