Face and Body Markings Packs Bug

Face Markings and Body Markings Cosmetic Packs. I just bought those 2 packs when they came out today with homestead. Whenever I travel to another region or log off and relog. The equipped face/body markings will auto unequip. I have tried with no addons too and it is still bugged. I also own the hair/adornment packs and they work without any issue. The latest two packs face and body packs are bugged. I have submitted a ticket to zenimax. Does anyone here face the same issue?

Edit : After more testing it only auto unequips when you have a "hat costume" equipped. For example : Cadwell helm or colovian hood from event. So face and body packs are bugged with "hat" slot.

I'm also having this issue. Auribical symbols will unequip itself when ever I port or zone. I do not have a hat collective but the costume I'm wearing does come with a helm. All of my other collectives stay the same. Only the body markings resets.

This has been happening for months now, it drives me insane, especially now that I have dozens of markings to sort through now and no way to favorite them without giving up quickslots.

This is still happening, it's definitely related to Costumes. Wearing a hat costume OR a body costume resets your equipped body and head markings to whatever you chose in character creation when switching zones; jewelry and facial accessories are unaffected. Wearing a hat AND body costume resets almost everything to their defaults when switching zones (jewelry, facial accessories, head markings, body markings). Hairstyles, skins, and facial hair (i.e. eyelashes) seem to be unaffected regardless of costume combination. Obviously this isn't a game-breaker, it's just reeeeeal annoying.
some clarification, it seems like you only lose Head Markings if you're also wearing a Personality. The rabbit hole deepens!

Nevermind fam, disregard everything I said, I think I've finally figured this out.
It's not what cosmetics you're wearing, but rather how many you're wearing. If you've got five or less cosmetics on (indicated by the eyeball icon next to the appearance type), you won't lose anything between zone switches. Putting on additional cosmetics and having additional Eyeballs active means some of them will get switched off when you switch zones. It seems to vary in priority in terms of what gets turned off, but as far as I can tell, personalities, costumes and hats never get removed, while body marking always gets removed first, followed by head marking, then jewelry, then facial accessory.
tl;dr you can only have up to 5 cosmetics active (as indicated by the eyeball) between zone switches, otherwise some are gonna get turned off and have to be re-equipped.
I hope this isn't intentional! I like playing dress-up.

Edit: further compounding the confusion, it seems like it might vary from race to race? My high elf starts losing cosmetics at 6, but my khajiit seems to never lose any even with 8 or 9 cosmetics on. Wood elf was able to get 8, unless one of those was a hat, which bumped it down to 7. All female chars, btw.

I am so sick of this... Seriously, NONE of my characters seem to be able to keep their cosmetic on. Mostly I lose body markings, but also jewellery and hairstyles. Why is this still ignored? I reported this months ago and you keep selling packs when the items are seriously bugged.

What I really dislike about ZOS's handling with in-game cosmetics is their choice of making new markings, hair styles, and accessories as collectables. Sure, being able to change your hairstyle anywhere at anytime is cool and all, but it doesnt feel like a lasting change tied to your character, instead it feels like wearing an extra wig or a fake tattoo. This is especially apparent when equipping a disguise and all of your crown purchased ascesories suddenly disappear.

Just to add that the cosmetic items in question that do not appear to show up. Still do... Thing is that only other people see them active in your character. Because the body tattoo that clearly wasn't showing on my screen. My friend said she sees it. But I don't care if they can. I used my crowns on the pack so I can see it. Even though it's crowns from being subbed so technically I didn't lose real money. It's annoying as f***. Also I'm not sure about the limit of how many can be equipped. The only thing I have equipped is the body marking and personality. Toon is a high elf btw

I am having the same issues on PC! I recently bought cosmetic pack: body markings.
When I put it on my two Bretons the body markings just keep disappearing after a teleport/travel/relog. If I want to put them back on I will need to click it multiple times to see it again. My friends are still be able to see the customization while I cannot.

On my Khajit it does not disappear however, and have not tried it on my High Elf yet since I haven't played her much yet.

Is there still a fix on the way? Cause as much as I like it that my friends can see it, I'd like to enjoy it too :P
