I know he was attack canceling cuz my 1st week in game people warned me that i'd eventually encounter it. this guy was basicly attacking 5 times before i could even fire one light attack from my bow. to add insult to injury after I lost all my points i had gathered, the guy starts teabagging me and my group. i should note he also was teabagging faster than what should be possible. Since it seems this isn't something that will be patched out, HOW do I pull this off myself so I can stand a chance in pvp?

ok let me rephrase the part you highlighted....he was using the crouch button way faster than should be humanly possible in ESO.

Animation canceling (AC) is allowed. The devs have confirmed it. Notice that it´s not the same thing as macroing.

Macroing does not give you any advantage in eso´s combat though. Also it does not allow you to execute skills faster than "normal".
The problem is moreso animation and with it casttimeskipping.
When you charge a heavyattack alongside your crystal fragments/dizzing swing - that is not animationcanceling. You´re executing two casttime ability at the same time. That´s a glitch in the animation system and not working as intended.

friend of mine was trying to teach me how to do weapon bar cancelling. i tried for 15min, had my fingers go sore. so. what i tried next? put into my blackwidow keyboard on slot number 1 skill + weapon swap. worked everytime. and way faster + reliably, the nonsense about macros not helping is bit meh. but yeah most animation cancellers seems like coffeine or drug addicts who spam buttons like its the end of the world.

that is what people are doing, and they have been for a few years in eso and calling it "anamation canceling.
you and others say its imposible, yet it is happening!

Actually it does, with macros you can get perfect animation cancelling. Without human error.
This guy probably just ran into his first animation cancelled heavy attack/crit rush/ransack/tremocscale/viper/ravage health combo. Three attacks, two or three proc sets, one poison, so much stupid.
Welcome to one stamriel.
Skill can be mistaken for cheating, when you dont know. HOWEVER are these global cooldowns listed anywhere? If publisher or at least explained it might help people understand the dark voodoo.
Maybe they need true animation cool down timings on the skills./ next to cast time?

Attack canceling is *not* hard...you only need to practice it. The above, you can light attack/ cancel to skill/ cancel with a bash/ hit ultimate and cancel with another bash all in the timeframe of 1 1/2 to 2 seconds depending. On if you do it right. The above takes a bit more skill than just one cancel, but once you learn you will FULLY embrace it, MASSIVE damage potential esspecially with procs in there with it
